A worrying thought. Heard from mum that a gasoline tank now costs over $50 =.=

Pls the recent news.

SINGAPORE: Singapore’s annual inflation was 6.7 percent last month, the highest in 26 years, the Department of Statistics said on Wednesday.

It said the consumer price index was boosted by higher costs of food, transport, communications and housing.

The March consumer price index figure was down 0.1 percent from February’s figure, the department added.

On a seasonally adjusted basis, the index was 0.3 percent higher in March, compared with the previous month.

Inflation reached 6.6 percent in the first three months of 2008, compared with the same period last year.

Singapore is not alone in grappling with inflation.

The United Nations food agency on Tuesday said the world faces a "silent tsunami" of soaring food prices and more must be done to help secure future supply.

Rising food prices are driving more people in Singapore to join the queue for free meals, charities said.

Crude oil is also trading at near record high prices globally.

The beach tonite was so nice. I like the weekdays, just a sight of a few people and several jogglers running. No noise, no much laughter, simply the sounds of the wave.

I like sitting near the cliff, staring at the clouds, watching the waves crashing on the rocks. Occasionally, could see a few sights of the airplanes breaking from the clouds. The sights of the lights of the ships at the far distance and occasionally a few people walking at the beach.

The only thing missing was someone beside me. lol.

Nevermind, sometimes its just nice to be alone thinking .....

I think i pretty gone crazy. lol. Here I am sick but feeling happy. lol. Who on earth spend $ to see doctor and yet feel happy. Only me. I a weirdo. lol.

Maybe cos I avoiding something. Running from Monday blues, running from the enormous work I know I will face on Monday, running from the hidden problems that I will find out, just plain running away.lol.

Glad I took a rest today. I badly needed recharged and I don thnk anyone will appreciate, especially my boss. lol. I rmbr I was reading email and typing out msgs and remote-supporting even when I was sick last few months ago. lol. Idiot, rite , or am I too responsible. lol.

And Oh Sux, bills are up again. Heard from mom cooking oil had cost $6.90 per bottle from $4.70 1 week ago. Wow...And I didnt know it affect medicine also. WTH had oil do with medicine? Today cost me $44, can only remiburse $25. The rest of the $17 i treat it as paying $ from my pockets to be off today. lol. Worth it for a day rest? lol. I wonder? Should be bah. lol.

Recent events had been on my mind

Increase in rice prices around the world. Especially affected are the neighbouring countries like indonesia and philippines. Thats' a worrying sign....Not only rice prices are increasing, certain commodities like beans, coffee, essential items to the common people are rising..
Increase in oil prices making the world financial markets jittery, and that means 1 thing - recession in US coming soon. Prepared for the worst cos recession in US will had a repercussion around the world.
Of cos, yr state..lol..You should know what I implying...don't had to say much then
The rest are insigificant as compared to the top 3 above....lol...like colleagues resigning..blar blar blar..pressure increasing....sort of....money not enough lar...blar blar blar....problems at work here and there....lol

Seems that Singapore is not yet affected by the current turmoil around the world yet.......from what I seen at east coast last sat...

SG education system is failing. I hate those couples who behaved like brats. lol.

I was having dinner at this coffee shop. In-front of me was this young bf and gf sort of. Both looks educated, at least the way they talk. This gal was also quite cute and pretty de. lol. Heavily make up to compensate her young age. This guy was nt bad looking.

The area was the non-smoking zone and there was a few kids arnd the table. On the wall was pasted this LARGE poster of "NOT SMOKING HERE" I wonder whether they had noticed it or nt cos they whipped out a cigarette and started smoking. WTF. Arent the various posters LARGE enough for these 2 BRATs to SEE or are they simplying IGNORING IT. Arent the education system supposed to teach the young so called country pillars of these and not chasing fame and $ in this rat-race world. . Haiz

They must had look embarassed cos I was like staring at them and looking at the posters on top of me. They smoked quickly. Went to east coast to have my lunch. Doesnt seem the country is like in recession leh. lol.

Someone help me!!! Lol..I been eating far too much.

Stupid Raining Month - March ..No wonder I hadnt jogged for a week except once last week..zzz.. Luckily my weight is still the same..lol..but feel so funny de...My business pants seem to be getting a bit tight de. =.=

Got to set my 2 priorities
1) LOSE the DAMn 3KG more
JOG EVERYDAY so I can be more handsome..lol..and hopefully attract more babes...alrdy attracting some de. ^.^
2) SAVE MORE $.....my savings is like never expanding...March Pay seems to be finished so soon...zzz
